28th August 2009 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: 18-28 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot surf Air Temperature: 19ºC Sea Temperature: 18ºC Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Still recovering from my recent trip to hosptial so taking it easy, but couldn't resist a quick windsurf session. Went out with my big board and 5.6m sail and had a good session blasting in out out through the waves. The wind picked up after about an hour and after a while it was touching 28 knots and things were getting a little too hectic. Normally I would have changed down to a smaller board and my 5m sail (which I had on the beach with me), but I decided to call it a day. I was supposed to be taking it easy after all and had already had a decent sail. |
